Everyday Impermanence #7
Impermanence as we usually imagine it feels as if it moves only in the direction of dissolution and decay.  We look back on the things we no longer have and the moments that have passed on.  The truth, however, is that impermanence runs the other way just as easily.  When we are trapped in a situation--or frozen, if you prefer 🙂--it is the impermanence of this moment and the impending arrival of the next moment that will provide the release.
